Apartment Fire in Santa Rosa
NorthBay Environmental, Inc. was called by a Sonoma County property manager to complete a fire damaged apartment restoration project in Santa Rosa during the 2015 holiday season. The cause of the fire was a fan plugged into an electrical outlet. It was difficult to determine whether the appliance failed or the plug. The devastation to the one-bedroom apartment was greater than expected considering how quickly the Santa Rosa Fire Department responded. NBE was retained to complete the fire cleanup and restore the apartment to its original condition. During this project, we disposed of almost a full dumpster’s worth of burnt personal property and furniture, plus another dumpster full of unsalvageable building materials. We were able to complete the entire restoration/reconstruction project in 60 days thanks to our dedicated NBE crew, and wonderfully responsive trade-partners.
